The Heroes season finale was really good last night but I can't remember why Linderman and Nathan and Nathan's mom wanted the bomb to go off. I also can't remember why Claire's dad and company were kidnapping the people with special powers and then erasing their memories. But I have to admit the season finale was well done. I didn't expect Nathan to "save the world" the way he did. It was quite an emotional ending. It's too bad Nathan had to die. Adrian Pasdar is damn good-looking. Anyway, I loved Claire too. And I can't remember why they needed the kid Micah. Oh well. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. It was just taking forever to get to the action and develop the story. The filler stuff was soooo slow. It was like one of those books you read just to know what's going to happen next and how it ends.
Well, back to American Idol, what a corny ass song. Why are the American Idol final songs so freaking cheesy. I like Blake. He's such a cool kid, and he's so talented and innovative. He's got a lot of heart. I like to see real creativity rewarded. But wow, Jordin Sparks does have such a dope voice, and she connects with the audience real well. I actually picked her out of the top 24 as one of my favorites, along with Blake when he sang that Keane song. Damn. I liked Chris Richardson too of course.
I think they both deserve to win for different reasons. They're both talented in different ways and both can sing but they're just different kinds of singers and artists and performers. I think this was actually a very cool final. Last season's final sucked, because it wasn't very competitive. The one before that I preferred Bo Bice over Carrie Underwood. And before that when Fantasia won it was totally uneven, just like last year's. The opening chords of the Chris Daughtry song reminded me of "Every Rose Has its Thorn" by Poison. That was a loooong time ago. The 80's were just the best.
